Dr. Shivaji K. Jadhav is a distinguished molecular virologist, infectious disease expert, and biotechnology consultant with over 20 years of experience in molecular diagnostics, virology, microbiology, pathology, clinical biochemistry, proteomics, and sequencing technologies (Sanger & NGS). A globally recognized scientist, he specializes in HIV/AIDS research, infectious disease diagnostics, molecular oncology, and precision medicine.
He earned his B.Sc. in Microbiology and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Karnataka University, followed by a Ph.D. in Biochemistry (Molecular HIV Virology) from the University of Mumbai. His doctoral research at the National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), ICMR, Mumbai, focused on HIV transmission mechanisms and pathogenesis. His research has been widely recognized, earning multiple Young Scientist and Global Health Awards, with publications in high-impact scientific journals and presentations at international conferences.
